I'm confused. Many Boston Globe articles say that the Walpole mascot was originally the Warriors and changed to the Rebels in 1968. Do you have any source?

Warriors is the name that Foxboro High School used. The Hill Toppers was the name Walpole used and it is in all the yearbooks up until the change. It's in all the yearbooks up until the Rebel change. The error is a common assumption because the highly successful Coach John Lee came to WHS in 1968. In truth, the name preceded his arrival by two years.
